Get creative with the Virginia Lottery's annual Thank a Teacher Art Contest!

Each year, the Virginia Lottery and its partners at The Supply Room and the Virginia PTA encourage students, parents and the general public to send thank-you notes to Virginia's deserving public school teachers during National Teacher Appreciation Week in May. These thank-you notes have featured winning artwork by three Virginia public-school students.

Now more than ever, Virginia's teachers deserve our thanks and we're once again calling on student artists to submit custom designs for the fourth annual Thank a Teacher Art Contest!

The Art Contest is open to Virginia K-12 public school students, and one top-prize winner will be selected from each level: elementary, middle and high school. The winning artwork will be featured on the 2021 notecards. The winners will receive individual cash prizes and win money for their school's art department!
